WHY CHOOSE THIS NEW HYBRID TECHNOLOGY?
As the developed world grapples with decarbonisation there is increasing discussion around heat pumps. The reality is that heat pumps alone are only suitable for around 20% of the UK’s existing housing stock. This is due to a wide variety of reasons, without major investment in building fabric improvement (e.g. window replacement, wall insulation, roof space insulation, radiator upsizing and pipework replacement).
A hybrid heating system is a fossil or hydrogen fuel boiler working in conjunction with a heat pump. By combining these two forms of heat generation, and using clever engineering and technology, the best of the two systems can be realised with the potential to reduce carbon emissions by up to 87%.
Heat pumps work a bit like a fridge-freezer, but in reverse. The clever technology uses electricity to take warmth from the air outside. Even when temperatures get as low as -15C.

REASONS TO CONSIDER HYBRID HEATING SYSTEMS
• Hybrid heating systems offer better energy efficiency and could save up to 50% on your heating bill
• Hybrid heating systems use less fossil fuels and can help reduce your carbon footprint
• Hybrid heating systems are considered a more reliable all-year-round heat source
• Hybrid heating systems are ideal for high heating demand properties
• Hybrid heating systems are considered longer lasting technology (vs boilers, for example)
